Dude.... so much freakin work. I'm so glad I am done with it...

Alot cheaper than buying arms... Jason was talking about straying the whole eyelet using one piece and bending it around. That'd be the way I'd do urs.

thanks man, this new welder kicks ass. I'm still learning though....

Sorry to bring up some old shit but I just installed these and had a concern. The shackle-to-frame bushings Allpro sent me were the same length as the spring bushings (shorter than the length of the frame mount) so there's about an inch of space in the middle of my frame-to-shackle perch where there is no bushing. Did they send you the same bushings? Did you install them? And are they giving you any issues?

Got some good work done today. Bought. Used drivers side spindle. Pressed out the hub and bearing. Welded on a new tc spindle gusset. This one is bullet proof. I'll never weld anything this important on 110 again. Using 220, the welder just works so much better. If I bend this one, I give up. I'll sas the bitch lol

Then I tackled my limit straps I've had for months... I made matching plates from scrap to weld onto the frame so I could a good smooth surface to weld to. No holes and a hell of a lot stronger.

Then I measured out what I figured would be enough. The straps stretched further than expected, leaving quite a bit of threads above the too nuts... not sure that's a problem? @jberry813 ? After a shit load of measuring and adjusting. I have it strapped at 3/16" on both sides. I'm assuming the straps will continue to stretch, so adjustment will be needed later.

The plates are the best way to do it. I did the same with mine. Made everything so much easier.

And finallyafter alignment and looking at it more, I was worried the brake line may get tangled up with the clevis bolt.... I flexed out on the lift just too see, looks ok. Thoughts?

@lotsoftoys Do your limit strap clevis' and mounts touch on full bump. Looks like they might? Yours looks just like mine except I used 9" straps and mounted up on the frame more. Looks nice!

Derp haha you posted that last pic before I posted...

By the looks of it with your bump not touching yet yure going to have issues with your strap mounts smashing into each other.

With the caveat that I don't know much about limit straps, would it be important that the force at full extension be in line with that top bolt so it doesn't bend? Or is there not enough force to make it bend?

If it does bend. It will only bend so far, then it will be alined :D mine are also off a little but that is where the instructions from TC suggested me to weld them. It keeps it away from the location where the secondaries will be.

I see what your saying but the spring on the clevis bolt hasn't collapsed yet either... so it should all move together... I don't see me having a problem with the two meeting.

I would have went higher on the Fram as well but it just didn't pan out in my head. I had 8 inch straps and the mount just didn't have a good place to go... so I went with 6" straps

They are in line as best as I could get it. There isn't that much force... if the strap can hold it, the metal can hold.
