Sick truck panda! As well as the thread and the pics to compliment. So the OME lift is treating you well and is cheaper than going the Bilstein route from toytec, but I like the adjustable shock idea... u disagree much? for rear im doin dakar too but probably no shackles. From your experience what would you do next to add to "off road ability". I think the lift, possibly uca's, then armor. but i hear alot of bushing talk or spindles or sway bars that I dont follow. would these be more options or necessities? thanks man

THANX MAN! i love my ome lift man, sur eits not adjustable but are u really gonna be changing your billsteins alot? you're gonna find what rides nice and lifts the truck high enough and leave it. MY ome gave me aroun 2.5 id say with bumper, v6, and skids. with the new top plate spacer closer to the full 3 inches. i love it. high enough for all that weight, and rides great. and yeah most peolpe lift then tires then armor... but def. have an idea of what u wanna do armor wise so u can plan ahead with your lift. and what do u mean about bushing and sway bars? take the sway bar off lol

Yea i dunno about the bushings, something like steering bushings were being replaced. I might have that confused with something non-lift related. but yes about the sway bar, is it suggested, necessary, to take off? I dont know enough about lifts and what else should be done to keep the truck drivin right. Thanks
BTW I went to school in Gunnison. F'ing loved that place. Never wheeled much there but it is centered around so many great places to do anything. Love southwest CO, CO in general!

rght on man i love it here too. so much to do. but ok i see what ur saying. the sway bar coming off helps with front end travel. and the steering bushings. those are on the steering rack. not lift related like u said... just makes the rack more sturdy on the truck.

Ok sweet that makes sense. I would prob leave mine on because this is a daily driver but I get out enough that I want a lift. That and with 93k on my truck new shocks are in order so I figure I might as well spend some extra dough and make it a 3'' lift kit. The ride would be sweet and with eventual 33'' rubber on the ground I should (I hope) have a more trail-capable taco...
That rear droop you speak of, do you mean it in the sense that you can articulate more? Would i articulate noticeably more with 3'' kit? Thats my goal
    Thanks dude

looking like the TOR group is aiming for the weekend of August 4th for a San Juans trip if you're down.. i'll be looking to head out maybe wednesday night to BV and head down thursday like we did last fall..might just take road down to lake city though to speed things up and get down to the region...then come back sunday night...so won't be doing all the trails they do but meet up with them thursday somewhere then leave sunday morning to work our way back..

kayla already said she'd be down...shouldn't see snow this time hahaha

i definitely plan on doing black bear pass then back up imogene pass to yankee boy basin..

My truck was parted out and sitting in a pasture when I bought it. Putting it back together is my goal now.
Nice Build! Do your bud built skids make it so that someone couldn't cat off your catalytic converter? I just had mine stolen and I'm looking for something to keep it from happening again. Hope you enjoyed Moab! I just got back to Denver from Moab last weekend.

so many pics taken from Moab... hard to choose however here are some of my favs. pics taken by Boxrocket, Jlee, Nyco and my gf... truck did great. Duratracs did well on the slick rock. cliff hanger tested the armor. bumpers worked perfectly, and bud builts got a workout!
