What is one modification on your truck that you absolutely love on your truck?

Also what is one modification that you absolutely hate on your truck?

Also what’s the cheapest modification you have made?

I only do mods that i need. It'd be stupid to do something i'm not going to like.

Payoff probably the best but not the sexiest. Second is I got it a big brother

don’t hate any, I think about most things before I do it. Maybe the one that bugs me the most is the OEM pro grille, there were no aftermarket ones when I got mine installed September 2016 when there were barely any pros around ~ that I saw. Then everyone over the next few years had them… and still going. I still like it the best but don’t feel the love for it I used to. Next might be all the cheapo interior LED’s over 2016-2017 from various places that crapped out over and over. Probably went through 6-7 different sets before finding Meso and vled in 2018.

    spiked hood.

That's very true, but I suppose it's possible that someone could do a mod that doesn't turn out to be quite what they expected despite research and the best of intentions.

Best: Probably bed mat, it is non-optional for our trucks.

Worst: None, but if I had to choose probably Screen ProTech Kit. It added a slight glare that is worse than stock imo. Still nice to have though. If the sun is behind me it sometimes shines perfectly into my eyes.

Cheapest: RAV4 Knobs for headunit ($24) <- also best mod imo

Honorable Mention: Mud guards, I ran without them for 2 months or so after buying the truck and would hear occasional dings and dongs on my undercarriage from rocks being kicked up, completely stopped after adding mud flaps.

Love - Everything about my softopper. Also love my pizza cutter tires, 255/85r16 Mastercraft Courser CXT's, changed the whole look of the truck.

Hate - Durobumps rear 3.5" bump stops, bought after I blew out a rear shock wheeling with around 15k on the truck hoping to avoid blowing the 5100's that replaced them. Advertised as working with 0-3"+ of lift (I have no lift) and I constantly smack them since they are 1" taller than stock and my rear leaf springs are junk. We'll see if they are better when I get a new leaf pack. Also read numerous reviews here that said they were "like a cloud" when hitting them, a statement that I wholeheartedly disagree with. Not as brutal as OEM, but still brutal. And they are obscenely expensive for what they are to boot.

Cheapest - RAV4 radio knobs. Still one of my favorite mods that nobody will ever notice.
