    Was that failure of the follower just a simple unlucky circumstance, or did the dealer say there was anything that could maybe contribute?

    As far I as I could find, and what the tech who did the job said......it's very rare, that it was more than likely a defective part. The tech who did my job is a Toyota master tech, was at my dealer for 20+ years, and has been wrenching for almost 40. He said mine was the first he saw that happen to.
