I love my tacoma however........I have to admit, for a premium vehicle, I can't beleive that it has no 'Low Windshield Washer Fluid' warning.

Premium vehicle? Don't get me wrong I love my Taco but it is not a premium vehicle.

Thats why they say top up everytime you get gas, and while your under your hood you might as well pull the dip stick and check your oil too.

Hell, the damn thing holds an entire gallon of cleaner so unless you use it a LOT then occasional checks should be fine. If you use it a LOT then you should be checking anyway. I top off every few months (or oil change since the hood is open anyway). It still has fluid, but takes most of a bottle to fill by that point.

You guys sure you have just not run it down low enough yet? My buddy's 98 taco had a low fluid light and so did my 04. I have not had the 07 down that low yet so I didn't even think about it and I top it off every time I change the oil, but I am kind of surprised that they would have dropped somethhing they had on the gen 1 trucks. Oh well, I've got eyes, and can check it myself.

    You're not from the North.

For those with the witty comments, I live in a place where -40C(F) occurs for around 3 weeks in the winter coupled with many feet of snow. We go through washer fluid on a weekly basis.

O' by the way Chris Desoup.......I didn't mean that it was a premium vehicle-it's only priced that way.

I'm not trying to have a witty comment but piercedtiger is right. Even if you use it alot, just open up the hood and check!:)

Windshield washer fluid? Damn, is that what y'all put in that?

Day one, I removed it, rinse it out with cold, clear water, re-installed it .... spliced into the hose and ran it into the cab by the center console ...... put a spigot on the bitter end.

Oh ya, put rum and Coke in the under the hood.

With this set up you don't give a rat's ass about a dirty windshield.

I never gave the lack of washer fluid any thought before. I just check it an fill it as needed.
