If it gives up the ghost on the interstate, could be your life. How much is that worth to you???

I know the feeling. But you should really seriously consider buying the part from a Toyota dealer. Camelback Toyota comes to mind...

i have dealt with Camelback before and have some parts en route!

my hasty reply is in regards to another current truck situation that is WAY over my head currently trying to figure out what to do about it with absolute no local trusted professional help yada yada yada
not even 1-800 Toyota customer service could help me out because they just dont give a shit about my safety i guess

Exactly what I did, and what I'd recommend at the very least. New hardware as well!

Ignore the extra parts; I replaced my LCA bushings at the same time I did my LBJ's.

Went with Whitelines right off the bat due to the good things I heard.

My bushings were long overdo, that and I wanted to get new tires so rather than risk uneven wear, I replaced them for the hell of it.

Doubt it made a difference, but I punched multiple dimples into the washers with a center punch seeing as how the factory ones were dimpled.

I daily drive either my C5 Z06 or C6 w/Z51 package; driving my 1st Gen with E-Rated Falken A/T tires and Fox 2.5 fronts/Billy 5100 rears feels like I'm on a cloud and no pothole can dare slow me down :mudding:

Ha, that would drive me nuts.

Not to deviate much more from the thread but, when I went off road and camping this last week, I dropped the tires down to 20 psi all while having multiple items in the bed (extra weight) - it was by far the smoothest driving truck I've ever been in.
