    Hello community,

I am in the middle of changing my lower ball joints. I ordered parts from Wesley Toyota and ordered 43330-39556 for driver side which shows as the right part for my 2001 2.7 prerunner. When compared to the one I am switching out I did notice slight difference. For one, the new one has TR stamped whereas the old one has FR. Any help is very welcomed. Pictures attached for better illustration.

    Thanks in advance.

If the part came in an OEM bag, then just install it.

Hope you're replacing both and not just one.

Yup - the TR stamp on the new driver side lower ball joint threw me off.

There are multiple variations with just the bolts used; wouldn't surprise me to see different variants regarding lower ball joints.

Part numbers in my signature are what I and many others have used.

True that. I ended going with the ones that torque to 37ft lbs. because of the dust boots.

    Good deal.

Do keep in mind that the torque values given are dry.

Not sure if you knew that but others will use loctite (I wouldn't) and forget to adjust their torque value lower.
