I've always liked the look of just running the upper bumper valiance. I don't have the money for a tube bumper yet...
Will i have too much trouble fitting a 2004 upper bumper to my 98?

I'm going to pick up this one. Guy said it was metal. I'll put my turn signals in my corner lights...

Do it and let us know how it goes... I'm thinking about taking lower bumper valience off my 03 when I put my lift on

check out m3bassman's truck as well as a few others that I can't think of right now:p

edit: sorry thought you just wanted pics of no valance. Not sure on the fitment but my guess is that it would bolt up fine.

I just put a front bumper off of an '02 on my '00, simple bolt up & the lower valance (all that plastic) simply un screws from the main bumper

pretty sure yours is like mine

That looks great. I love it without the lower valiance on. I'm throwing my bumper away and just going to run the upper like this. Thanks a mil for posting pics.

The fact that it's wider will work well with my fiberglass fenders too.

I like it but just want some kind of skid plate under there to get rid of that ugly brace that used to be behind the valence.

Oh yeah , much better than our years why Toyota didn't go this route(removable valance) I don't know, easier & looks waaaay better

Yeah I filled in that area with some perforated steel mesh I came across, ya gotta put something there to protect the now exposed section of radiator...;)

Yeah... I'm working with Beefed Taco to try and come up with a badass skid that replaces that brace and covers up all the now exposed undercarriage.
