One of my favorite top cruising song of all times. Heard this song in a Cheech and Chong movie and fell in love with it.
Thanks for posting brings back memories.

    Joe,

I took some before and after measurements of my 2021 AC-LB with 500 miles. The front end was lowered by 1.250" and the rear was lowered by 3.25". The truck sits pretty level between the front & rear.

SOS claims a 2" front drop and a 3.5" rear drop with their kit. Perhaps my truck didn't drop that full amount because of how new it is but honestly I'm pleased with the less drop.

No complaints about the ride quality, although I only drove the truck 500 miles before the suspension drop the truck rides just as nice as it did before the drop.

I would not hesitate to perform the drop again.

I think I would look into retractable steps with a longer ...lower height.... bracket.

I'm running the SOS 2"/3.5" drop on mine. Very happy with how it rides. Mine is a gen 2 but they make a similar kit for the 3rd gen

    Ha!

Before I was driving trucks, I had a lowered accord and civic. I still love how lowered vehicles look, it’s just not practical for my use. Some of those lowered x runners are beautiful.

Looks great! Love that side exit exhaust!

    Your truck is AWD?

Thanks brother! and yes sir, i swapped it to a m/t FJ cruiser t-case so it's full time AWD with a 40/60 front/rear split.

It was a very easy install since i ran the Auto version of the FJ case before hand. So basically it was bolt up, and swap driveshafts to the DCSB v6 automatic ones since they were the right length. Took maybe two hours at most but i had done the ADD delete already previously

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
I share sentiments on lowering the taco.

    Not quite there yet.

There are on the market "shorter" coil springs for the front, and it is not a big deal to get the rear leaf springs re- arched to flatten them out a bit.

    Just a thought...
