Rack to go on shell. That's a Yakima set up.

thanks. Just want something low profile so it doesn't look stupid. The Yakima Load Warrior is too high. Thinking of the Rola Vortex.

Pull the Yakima towers and crossbars off and install a Prinsu Designs caprac. It installs using your Yakima channels.

Have you checked out Prinsu Designs? They make cab racks and shell racks. Guys on here seem to like them a lot....

Just warning you, once you buy the shell rack, you'll want the cab rack as well. It's a slippery slope haha

Alright...so the one for the shell...I can use the existing Yakima Tracks for this rack? That's what I read..or think I read. Just worried about the spacing between both sets of tracks (on either side). Do I measure the distance between the two and send that info to them? Or are they adjustable somehow.

What do you meant LOWEST, when yours is installed in top of the factory bars?

Your track width spacing will be totally fine. The mounting points on the Prinsu rack are adjustable in/out to accommodate variations in mounting width.

Excellent. Thanks. This is perfect. Looks like I'm ditching the bars and going with this set up.
