Titan tank is a great idea... have a hose and in emergencies add some to main tank to get where u need to go.

Its DOT approved, too. But I passed it up as I didnt think it would have worked for me that well with a shell- no way to fill it inside. It would be great if you just have an open bed, and transferring gas from it to the main tank using a hose and siphon or electric fuel pump would work.

Those are my plans, high lift near in the bed near the cab, shovel and axe on the left side. Titan tank and a pump on the right. Would have it connected so I can pump while I'm inside the truck and don't need to get out.

Can u pump while driving? From auxilary tank to main tank?

Dang, dont you stop to take a piss break? :)

I think you could do it, but breaking the seal of your main tank while running might affect emissions and you might get warning lights like when the cap is bad or loose.

Right..... just took a look at the bed of my 13 short bed... that titan tank would not work. It will block the outlet of the door. Of course

I don't like to stop.... I wish someone made a 60 gallon fuel tank man. Seriously

I like long trips too, but they are definitely not for everyone. I once rode a Greyhound bus cross country for the heck of it - people are weird and interesting on those things - some guy sitting in the back row couldnt wait and was kicked off the bus by cops for trying to relieve himself in a bottle because the driver wouldnt make an unscheduled bathroom stop. That was an interesting trip. I also shared french fries and beers with a girl sitting next to me and we ended up dating for awhile. Yup, long trips are interesting!

So what was wrong with the Titan Tank- was it too long or something? I really wanted to get one before I put my cap in, but now I like my thee 5-gallon eagle safety cans...

Those containers are good, just need more looking to make a 8 hours trip without stopping. I have pissed in water bottles before. I drove from south Carolina to az in 24 hours.... loved every minutes except stopping to get gas.
