Been waiting for this to come out for a while now. I believe this is the second kit going on a Tacoma. Can not confirm that though. Just wanted to post up some pics of my shop doing the install so far. They are working with LSK on some last stage R&D. LSK did post up a picture of the kit on their Instagram page as well.

Edit : just wanted to point out that it is not a requirement nor do you have to cut the inner fenders or install the engine brace for this kit. That was a personal choice of mine.

Trying to get it ready for the last couple days of KOH. Will post up more when we are closer to getting her done.

With all that work and beef on the upper mounts I hope something a long the same lines is in order for the lowers.

    This

top part is looking beefy as hell but compared to the lower mounts, those look like they'll snap off

According to LSK and my shop most of the stress comes from the upper mounts so the bottoms do not need to be reinforced. I am not an engineer or fabricator, but I have full faith in both that is true. Here are a few more pics of the progress. The engine brace is not included with this kit I am having him do some extra thing since he is already in there.

If you are midtravel then yeah lca mounts are fine but since you are posting in the LT section I imagine you are going to bash this truck accordingly. Especially with the shock and UCA mount being as beefy as it is. @tetten and @sytfu510 can attest that the lca mounts do experience enough stress to the point of cracking and breaking off. You can also do a quick Google search for "bent lca mount Tacoma" and you'll get multiple results and images. When my cam bolts seized and had to cut them off, I slightly bent one of my lca mounts. I gave it a quick tap with a deadblow to realign it, that's how weak they are.

Also, any reason you guys didn't add in tube couplers to the engine brace in case you need some engine work in the future?

I know that that the kit some with tabs to weld onto the lower mounts and it uses new lower bolts as well, no more cam bolts. If something happens we will deal with it at that point.

They are going to make the engine brace removable.

yeah I saw that, just some cam tab gussets which are great but I'm talking about the whole LCA mount being compromised. Lemme see if I can dig up a few photos of the problem and some solutions

no problem man, not trying to put down your build or anything, just figure it's something else you can add on because why not??? Plus just making conversation. Extra beef can't hurt lol Hope to see continuous updates and progress.

No I appreciate it. Like I said I am not an engineer or fab guy. I actually came from the tuner world so all of the truck stuff is new to me. Trying to learn everything I can. I will post up more as it goes along.

    Oh shit my bad hahahaha

Or you can go with @81Trekker solution which is a simple cut off stock mounts, align new mounts, and weld on (which also fits 35s)
