Alright gents, Im in the middle of my build right now and looking for some help.

    2012 Tacoma Baja.
I want to keep the rear bedsides/ fenders so I don't lose my decals. (Cutting not an option)

Getting the All Pro Long travel front and all pro rear with Kings.

My question: 33s won't be an issue. I want to put 35s on. Who has an All Pro LT and rear or similar with 35s and stock rear bedsides/fenders? Am I going to destroy my rear or have a big loss in performance of the rear travel?

This is on stock suspension jacked up as a test fit.

    IMG_4451-1.jpg

Front is the All Pro LT but I have fiberglass so not a concern.
    @allpro any input?

Cut 2" out of your rear fenders and flares, like this:

You can see it better in the red.
Can't cut anything. Graphics cover it all. That's my issue. Trying to determine performance loss going with 35s.
From the stock flex it looks like the issue is going to be the back clearance not the top

No, I think the 35's will rub the front and the top. Not the back.

I didn't think all pro made a rear long travel kit. Even 33's will rub in the rear.only way to run 35's will be to bump them with little to no up travel. If you're not looking to cut anything 35's really aren't an action for you

This is true. It's not actually a long travel rear, I had LT on the brain when typing and put LT rear by mistake. I'll fix that above, thanks. With their kit I will be gaining travel and am still worried about fit issues in the rear.
Their site mentions 33s without rubbing but I'm curious if anyone has done 35s and not lost a lot of performance.

Just put the same front LT and the AP leaf kit in the back. 34x10.50 17 don't hit anything in the back and have a slight rub up front in the front of the tire on the inner wheel well. Going to do a little heating and molding tomorrow morning. I had 35's in the garage an took them back and traded for the 10.50's. I just couldn't get myself to do that much cutting. image.jpgimage.jpg

Awesome! You know about how much room in the rear you have to spare currently?
Were the 35s hitting in the rear too or just the front?
You also have a 2016 though. Looks like a substantial difference in fender design

Did you actually flex out the rear, or just jacked it up?

That's a 2016. I was under the impression that they have bigger wheel wells

image.jpg I got the LT because it seemed to fit my type of driving best. They told me at All Pro when I bought it that it was meant for 35's
Quite a few people here are running them, but with quite a bit of cutting. The 34's just seemed like a much better fit. My last 2 rig's had the 12.50's, a rubicon and a grand Cherokee, and it always seemed like I was working the wheel keeping it going straight. The 34's give up a half inch of ground clearance but they really drive down the road nice. And I didn't have to chop up the fenders and body mounts.
Your going to love how that LT drives. Didn't get to really get stupid with it yet, but we have a couple railroad crossing around here that resemble a nice mx jump and we were just breaking it in a bit. Got a little air under the tires and when it came down it was like landing on a pillow.
Probably more than you wanted to hear, I'm just really liking the truck right now.

Do you really need 35's? Or do you just want to run 35's to run 35's? You're pretty much going to have to trim to run 35's, no real way around but if you do it cleanly you should be able to keep those "baja" graphics.

Its only jacked up on the stock suspension. hopefully I can test it with the All Pro on, just the issue of once the tire is mounted, I own it. I may be able to get them to let me test an actual flex on 35s

Ya they look bigger thats for sure. Loosing a half inch is really not much at all. Just not sure how long to get tires in 34, they have the 33s and 35s. Just want my truck, done with delays and murphy law.

Do I really need them, prob not, do I like the added clearance and the look, absolutely. The Hangman fiberglass front fenders aren't the big budge, but they are cut higher. Always hated the look of a lifted truck on "tiny" tires.
As far as cutting goes I just don't see how it can work with the graphics. Unless I trim the fender and cut off the bottom of the letters

The reason I ask is because jacking up the axle in the middle is great if you hit a speed bump, but if you dont flex out with one tire stuffed and one tire drooped out, you won't know for sure what you can stuff.

I want to sell my new 265/70/17 Duratrax tires and bump up to 35's because with my fiberglass fenders it looks silly. I didn't want to lose power and MPG due to being my daily driver. Has anyone ran 35's with stock gearing and how does it feel/ pull? Also what gearing would you recommend for 35's? Sucks being 4x4 re-gearing is gonna Cost $$$.

Yeah tons of people run 35s in stock gears

If you don't wanna cut DONT run 35s...it's not something you can just install. You have to cut 2"+ out of the fenders...cab mounts...pinch weld.

Yeah I'm gonna cut the frame cab mounts this weekend and weld some plate in. I need to search and see how much material to remove to fit 35s.
Here is what she looks like right now with 265's I have a lot of space that needs to be filled.
