I have been using this stuff for my U-joints and trailer bearings for years.

Anybody use this stuff for ball joint lubrication? It seems very thin for this application.
    What would be better?

do you have greaseable ball joints? Stock stuff doesnt.

I use red n tacky on all my u joints without issue. The upper ball joints on my SPC arms like more molly so i use some valvoline stuff.

I now have 5 zerks on the drive shafts and 8 on the front suspension. 2 more when I get my upper ball joints installed. I would like to use one grease for all if possible.
I do have a second grease gun with the blue/green Lucas heavy duty stuff.

In what way to they "like more moly"? I know that sounds like I'm being a smartass, but I'm legitimately asking what symptoms tell you that?

SPC calls for something like 3-5% moly in the grease.

I heard every good mechanic grew up on peanut butter and red-N-tacky sandwiches.
