Thanks so much Matt. 6 more infusions left, then probably over to doxy.

I got a PICC line a few days ago and am doing the daily antibiotics for Lyme. I was having weird neurological symptoms. Everything from chest down felt “weird”. Not numb, and not pins and needles, but just felt very strange. Only been four days on the meds but I see some improvement.

I never saw a rash nor the tick bastard that got me.

These guys are handling my treatment:

I had regular blood work and a lumbar puncture to help the docs figure out what was up. I also lost 15 pounds in about two weeks. Results of the tests point to Lyme

as much as possible. i know what supplements and herbs i need to take but it's a constant struggle. i went undiagnosed for like 3 or 4 years so I ended up almost dying in the ER before I was properly diagnosed.

    Damn man...sorry to hear.
I am going for my last infusion tomorrow. Have been on ceftriaxone for about a month and a few days of doxy before that.
When I first went on the doxy I felt immediately better too. I know what you mean. Thought it was in my head, but it gets to the bacteria fast.
Good luck on your recovery. Let us know how you are doing.

Just checked out the Hopkins site. Looks like you are getting the help you need.
Wow...sorry to hear what you have been going through. Would you mind sharing the supplements and herbs? My next step after this antib therapy is to get going on a probio and supplement routine. Pretty much against what my doc would care for, but I have researched this nasty bacteria and would like it eliminated from my body.

    sorry...:(

Had a similar weight loss as well. Did they do the western blot test?
They had to wait for days for mine to come back. Showed that it was indeed "new" lyme in my system.

yea, i'll send you a message with all the stuff i've taken later today. woke up with a migraine this morning so going to have to wait until later. antibiotics destroyed my gut so i don't take them anymore. i just took way too many for way too long.

look up the Buhner protocol for a start. also getting rid of the biofilm is extremely important or the antibiotics can't get to the spirochetes/bacteria to kill them. made this mistake early on in my treatment. you get fight biofilms with serrapeptase/xylitol/Biocidin (https://biocidin.com/products/biocidin-liquid-formula).

i think the serrapeptase is essential though so the antibiotics can kill the cyst/hidden forms.

Here’s the stuff that needs to be pumped through the the PICC line. Saline, cefTRIAXone, more saline, and heparin.

30 days. Take about 30 mins start to finish. Most of that time is waiting for the cefTRIAXone (hand grenade looking thing) to run, which is a good time to catch up YouTube videos.
