I have a pretty similar story. In the end our vet urged me to get tested knowing I spent alot of time in the woods with my dog who had come into contact with a it and saw symptoms in me at her last visit. My doctor didn't feel Lymes was a real thing so I had to order my own test. I am 7 or so years in now much improved but still living with it.

started serrapeptase for biofilm last week and i'm having one of the worst herxes i've ever had. seems like I've awakened 15 years of Lyme. chest pain, liver pain, joint pain, muscle pain, migraines, lymph nodes the size of marbles.....it's awful. hopefully it eases up soon. good news is that maybe I've found the missing link to finally killing the hidden forms.

doctors who don't think it's "real" should lose their license. it's an abomination to their medical practice. i would be dead right now if i listened to ignorant doctors like that.

Agree I would probably not be able to walk at minimum but the largest fears were weird heart related issues. They wanted to write it off as high stress mental and physical life. Crazy that our Veterinarian figured it out because I was limping and I had glazed over eyes struggling with a migraine.

Interesting links. I like to read from a variety of scientific sources though and the links you provide don’t explain why Lyme area had that outbreak. Remember scientific “experts” (biased by faulty China controlled research) initially said Covid did not originate in a lab in Wuhan, now other scientist are indicating strong evidence it likely did.

@DrFunker I’m always interested in subjects such as this that pop up. I found some interesting links. Seems lyme disease was researched in Germany 130 years ago.
    https://www.bayarealyme.org/about-lyme/history-lyme-disease/

    This too is interesting-
    https://www.boston25news.com/news/controversial-clinic-uses-heat-to-cure-lyme-disease/862382139/

If I were you I would research all I could and not trust just one doctor or one expert. I wish you well!

Also I had no idea how prevalent lyme disease is, CDC cites 30,000 cases per year reported but estimated may be as high as 476,000 per year! These widely varying figures demonstrate the incompetence of the CDC to monitor and research diseases such as lyme.

they bioengineered it on plum island as a bioweapon. obviously there's no proof of that but it makes sense.

My hospital roommate told me about this.

    Oh damn...sorry to hear. :(
Now that I am done with my antibiotic therapy I am going to be starting some herbal supplements.

    A-gree.

Damn man...yeah, don't let them do that. I had to ask for a lyme test to be done before an upcoming blood test. If I didn't ask for it, it would not have been caught. Advocate for yourself all the time. There were times that I am sure I sounded crazy as shit, but I DGAF.

I have been learning as much as I can about lyme. Constantly curious about everything. Thanks for the links. Can't wait to check them out.

Pulled this guy out of a big swollen bullseye late last week. Waiting on test results but already started doxy. No symptoms yet.

    Doing better.
Last infusion was the end of Oct. then I had to deal with the after effects of the abx running through my system.
The other thing I noticed was my heart seemed like it was getting back to normal. Had some fluttering. Doc said it was all normal.
    BP has been good.
Have been researching and reading whatever I can.

Now dealing with covid. :( Tested + yesterday. On pax now.
Just can't seem to win this fall.

    Thanks Matt.

My PICC has been removed. The whole PICC process from day 1 to day 30 went very smoothly. No issues at all
