Mac OS X Lion

Anyone have it yet?? i updated my iPhone to iOS 5 and was waiting for iCloud to start being awesome and it hadn't happened....sooooo i updated my macbook pro to lion and my iPhoto and now iCloud is great shah

so like i said before lion anyone?

 

no. i have snow leopard. i may up date some time soon idk.

 

I spent the weekend that iOS5 came out work on my mini-The d/l system SUCKED. I got my wife's Air up to Lion as well.

It is pretty effing nice..

 

yaa i never used snow leopard cuz i borrowed my friends dvd and updated straight to lion, all i can say is Lion is a huge improvement in usability, it works more like iOS which i like because I'm so used to the iPhone. i really recommend upgrading when u get a chance and wanna drop the 30 bucks haha what kinda mac do you guys have? mine seems to lag a bit more now which i expected, just wondering how urs is with it

 

It's running on my 1st Gen Mini and my wifes 1st Gen Air. I think it actually streamlined something about the Air cause it's a lot less glitchy now.

 

i just got mine august ‘10. 13” MacBook pro.

edit: idk what gen it is. it had the metal uni body.

 

oh really well thats awesome then! I'm running it on my uhhhh not sure what generation it is but its a macbook pro from 2008, not the new "body" but the older all silver one, its a 15 inch, and the lagging is less noticeable to me now, the biggest fix for it is just closing apps when I'm not using them

 

Yeah i have had Lion for about two weeks now and love it.
I have a MacBook Pro 2.8Ghz I7, with 8gig of Ram, and have noticed no lag. I actually think it is quicker now.

 

just checked and mine is a macbook pro 17 inch 2.4ghz with 2gb memory and 200gb hd...happy to discover I still have 106Gb free

now heres another question i pose for everybody, I'm going to college next year and my parents are giving me about $1000 bucks for graduation(supposed to be for a laptop but i already have a great one soooo) what should i ask for or spend that money on??? any ideas

I'm jelly!!! I'm still running leopard and just got the new 4s so I'm missing out. Is there a way to hooked up with Lion?

 

I wish man! I reccomend asking around for snow leapord that way you don't have to buy both, then just buy lion cuz its only downloadable. Damn Apple got smart like that ahaha

ya i thought that was really annoying, luckily my grandpa lent me his version of snow leopard

 

Take the thousand bucks and just hold it, trust me. You will be looking for money soon enough and will be glad you didn't spend it on something you didn't need.

 

I found a guy on craigslist that'll hook me up on snow leopard, lion, and ilife 11 for $35. score!
