    Ok so I drive like 30-40k a year depending, so that’s like 8 oil changes a year.

    I think the OEM washer gets replaced every time I get an oil change in that it’s a crush washer I think.

    So do these need to be replaced every oil change? Or can the dealership use the OEM washer when they do my oil change?

    According to Toyota yes they do. Do I replace mine every time, no. I have a few in the garage and do replace them now and then...when I remember. :)

    So the dealer washer can be used for this plug I’m guessing too?

    Are the drain plugs the same size for the engine and transfer case and manual transmission?
    I pretty sure none of mine are magnetic.
    So maybe I need three

    I would think so. I'm not an expert but I've used washers from various places with the stock plugs. I'm also an old cheap bastard so I've only bought one thing from the dealership. Remember, washers aren't rocket science...unless they're on a rocket.

    When in doubt try this. I have this set for my upcoming change on my truck. I did my wife's Sequoia a while back and did not replace the washers. No leaks on hers, but next time I'll probably replace the washers.

    The transfer case and rear diff are the same thread pitch. The manual transmission and oil pan plugs are a different size, but should be magnetic from the factory.

    Does aluminum oem washer fits with this drain plug? I believe transfer case is aluminum and you should use aluminum washer. Correct me if I’m wrong thanks!
