    I'm running a boost gauge and a banks idash. Plan on getting a standalone wideband AFR gauge to compare what the banks is reading from the Toyota sensors.

    Perks of being a machinist... I made my own oil cooler spacer... and I'm gonna go out on a limb and say mines better! My goal was to not have any oil flow interference so I went and over complicated the heck out of the passages

    Well finally got it up and running, but, am having issues. I'm not building more than 4 pounds of boost on the 87mm pulley. Also, boost seems to be surging, I'll build a couple pounds and then all the sudden it drops and you loose the extra power. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

    Mine has definite surges at very little throttle and an incline, feels like the bypass is opening and closing, but my surging only happens with 2psi on the gauge, and drops to single digit vacuum, then back up to 2. I been meaning to either install a sensor on the bypass, or add a spring to it, to verify that it is indeed the bypass.

    Interestingly, I discovered that factory new, the bypass did not quite close, so i adjusted it to fully close without touching. then noticed it operated a bit stiff, so oiled the outside butterfly shaft, and it started working butter smooth. I always wondered if freeing it up, contributed to the surging.

    Up and running good! Getting around 7 to 8 pounds here at 6k feet and the 87mm pulley. The truck on 37s moves better than my stock (minus tune) 5.7 tundra. Well worth the time, money and energy. The only thing I'm disappointed with is the fact that you can't hear the thing over the tires! I hope one of the tuning companies finds a way to make the 84mm pulley successful!

    OTT has run the 84 mm pulley and published data. Not sure if it’s for sale, but they know what it takes to make it run. Reach out to @JustDSM. Runs below were done around 4500’ elevation in SLC, UT, data is SAE corrected though so accounts for atmospheric conditions.

    Green = 90mm
    Red = 87mm
    Blue = 84mm

    Yeah, the 84mm asks a lot from the engine. Juice may not be worth the squeeze for more ponies and TQ.

    Anyone running the S&B intake with the Magnuson? I would love to find a way to connect the two. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    No, 37s need all the room they can get up there. I've thought about doing some ghetto pond liner or something but doing the airbox cowel mod thingy would be easier imo

    Hey gang. I’m the new owner of a 5sp solar octane TRD Pro. Normally when I get a new vehicle I spend all my time and money on suspension, wheels/tires, etc but I honestly love the way this thing drives so much I will probably leave those stock for the time being. The pro suspension rocks.

    that said, I love to tinker so I’m thinking of slapping a supercharger on her. With only 130 miles on the clock, has anyone experienced any reliability issues with the magnusen supercharger? I’m close to sea level but plan on taking the truck up into Montana for elk season this year.

    I understand that generally adding forced induction to a motor will shorten its lifespan but my S/C’d 3.4 went 290k before I sold it and never needed a rebuilt. Are you all expecting similar life out of a booster 3.5?

    35,000 plus miles on mine with no issues. You would never know its there until you step on the gas. Engine runs as smooth as day one.

    When did you install it? Magnusen tune or did you have it tuned?
