Well I checked frys, walmart, and radioshack (multiple ones of each) and none have a CB RADIO. Any other suggestions?

Dont need one just would be nice. If anything On TTORA and Customtaco runs we have 1 person in front with a CB/Race Radio and one person in the back with one to make sure no one gets lost.

They dont LOL They only have 2Meters. I was going to buy one from them. Icom 8000 or what ever but found that I only use this CB with my brother and rarely go to Barstow with the Race trucks anymore. So I found that spending 25 bucks rather then 200 worked out for me. Prob next year I'll have both though.

    Just the basics
How difficult is it to install a CB? I have one from way back in the day which is brand new in the box. I believe it is from Radio Shack.

I said fuck stressing about getting a cb by Sunday, I'll just not get lost. I ended up ordering a uniden 538 pro for $50 of Amazon, not too ba considering most places havem for $70-$85. I also bought a nice firestik so hopefully I'll get it installed next week. When I no longer need it....lol.

For the guy with the cb installation question, Ive heard many people say that installation is fairly easy and ahoudnt take more than an hour. I hope this is the case for me. There's a DIY on this forum somwhere and I read through it: it's very clear so u may wanna use that. The only problem I may have is getting the antenna to the head unit, where
do I run the cable? Anybody? And what siZe antenna should i use, I purchased a 4 footer.

30 tops. ground it straight to your battery, all extra antenna cable should be wind up tightly. better to buy almost a perfect amount of cable. I made that mistake. keep the cable away from subs and amps. because it will affect the sounds on the cb.

I thought the antenna only has a coaxial cable going to the headunit? It has ground too?
