    Toyota out source from other parts manufacturer to make their parts. there are couple kits sold on ebay. Ive bought 2 kits, one with tensioner and 1 without. both have the same mix/brand. all made in japan, Taiwan ect.

    Sounds like you may have "axle wrap", which is typical of older Tacoma leaf springs. This image shows the energy braking and acceleration transmit to the springs.

    While you are replacing the shocks, I suggest new leaf packs. Upgrade to 4-leaf for stock ride height or 5-leaf for lifts.

    Excellent product. I suggest you call "Wheelers Off-road" at 541-474-2879 and talk to Dan. They are Distributors for all the major name brands and will hook you up with the appropriate products for your application. Just tell him what you've got and what you're trying to achieve and you'll be good to go.
