I am very new to Tacomas and TacomaWorld in general. I have recently purchased an '18 Taco White TRD Sport. The problem that I have faced is not sure what modifications I can do. Despite minimal look changes, I have been looking to put a lift and different tires--this has confused me. I was wishing for 4-6 inches but that begins to push $2,000. I am beginning to lean towards 3 inches, but don't know if the factory (265/65/17) tires would look right. Another issue I have run into is finding a lift kit for an '18 Sport that isn't 4x4. My second hesitation is wheels. Im looking for some proper good-looking wheels that will not make my truck look ridiculous, but will make it look nice.

As far as wheels go, @ChadsPride is right with his SCS suggestion.

Just say no to anything deep dish and anything branded American Force. That shit is the same as putting a rainbow flag on your back window.

I think you should cool your jets until you know what you want. And more importantly, why you want it, other than looks.

I'm guessing you have a 2wd due to your comment about 'isn't 4x4'.

Just have @ChadsPride give you a parts list. Or send him your money and let stuff start arriving at your door.

Would getting a 3' lift make a noticeable difference? Would spacers be worth the money if I would take it off-road eventually? I wouldn't be rock climbing like something in Colorado, primarily going through mud and minor bumps and drops in Georgia.:help:

Welcome to the community! In the future, try not to use the word "HELP" in the thread title unless you really need help, like you are stuck in the mud or trapped under a tree somewhere! Help for mods is a lot different than needing real HELP out in the woods lol.
3" lift will look fine. Tire size of 265/70/17 will look fine and need no cutting or anything. Plus... it's a 2WD. You are not going to go too far off road.

I always thought you only lift a truck high enough to fit the bigger tires you wanted. So if you are going to keep stock tire size why lift it? Unless you are just going for looks by all means do whatever you like . . . Welcome and congrats on your new Toyota!

Be careful not to go too big on the tires you choose or you may not be happy with the outcome performance wise. My Pro had 285/75/16's when I took possession of it which I changed out to 265/70/16's immediately. Unless you plan on re-gearing tires that big and heavy will turn your stock A/T truck into a powerless, torque-less, shift-happy turd real quick.

What exactly is your issue with rainbow flags?
