Some pictures. Went back to the junkyard today to get some springs to help with the ride height and spring arch in the front. Ideally, I wanted to get wagoneer springs but I have yet to see one there.... Went in looking for thin leafs in general and while walking around... Found Grand Wagoneers. Untouched. Looked like they had just set them there. So with that said, my dad and I pulled the whole axle. Hes using one on his jeep and took it for a future project. I got the springs though and will set ride height tomorrow and get everything welded up for the front!

Need some opinions here. Need to order shocks soon and am undecided on what to get. Looking at just getting fox 2.0 smooth bodies, blistein 2.0s with remote resis, or possible icons 2.0 smooth bodies. Really wanted am adjustable shocks to account for varying weights but cant swing that much right now.

    What's everyone think

Given those I'd go foxes. But all sound good.

I'd get the foxes, a friend of mine has them and really likes them on his SA'ed 4Runner. I've got 5125's all around on my truck and they work fine, the weight in the front seems to make whatever work well up there

Thanks. Wasnt sure how the 5125s would do with all the weight up front and extra weight in the back from a swingout, rtt, rack, and camping gear and such. Thats the real reason I want the adjustable ones but they will have to wait and I will just a little bit of a rake for now.

Front is almost done! Got the truck sitting on its own weight for a little. Getting the power steering lines fittings tomorrow and ordering longer wheel studs to finish it off. Plan for tomorrow is to start painting everything and get the skids template made along with shock towers. Front should be done soon.

Well shes a roller! First time its been out of the garage since we started. Frame height for now is 23" with just under 3" of uptravel on 35s. Not to bad. Had to move the axle back 1" to clear the pitman arm though. Front is done except for drive shaft, finish welding the steering and making shock towers and installing shocks. And the usual fill the axle and other little things. Should have it turned around beginning of next week hopefully.

Got the bed pulled off and hosed down as well as cut and bent the skid. Going to weld the skid plate in the morning when I get off from work then should be able to turn the truck around and get it pushed back in the garage to start the rear.

I cut the middle sections and we bent it by "hand" since the pieces where to long to fit in the press. I'll clamp it to the truck tomorrow and then weld in the parts I cut on the bottom and inside.
