Not sure. Ill have to call the company and see if they are still doing the offer. Sounds like you have/had to wait till they had 20 orders then they make them.

Got the chevys all mounted today. I think mine ended up almost 9.5in foward of stock hanger. I put the hanger at 90* to the frame and thats where I notched the frame. Put the leaf spring pin in the same place as stock when at ride height. At full drop, they were close 3/4 in foward. Everything I read about how to do this got thrown out when the first measurment I took was off. :frusty: Putting the bed back on tomorrow with tires to double check everything.

    Good post...
I was not aware they moved that much in the forward direction. I was thinking mine moved due to breaking the spring pack.

    Keep us informed.

    Thanks for the up-date.

Yeah i think the instructions say 7" forward but mine will like be close to the 9" range. I though about cutting the front hangers off and just pulling it forward until the axle lined up in the middle. Or should the leaf pin actually be the middle? Not sure if that lines up like that or not..

No way these will line up 7" unless you move the rear hanger back. Using the stock Shackles on the rear, I put them 90* to the frame. At the time, the leaf pin was not in the middle but when I put the axle back under it and put it at ride height, the pins where in the stock location. I didn't end up using the factory hanger and it actually just got in the way so I trimmed it down till I could get in there to take it the rest of the way off.

And a note, all the factory mounts on the driver side where an 1/8 farther foward than the passenger side. I don't think it will affect anything as it is still all square now.

Going to cycle everything with the bed and tires today and will let you know tonight how it all works out. Hope all that makes sense

Got bumpstops set and started cycling the suspension today and tried to get the ride height set. Had to pull a leaf in the front and will be pulling another tomorrow. Frame height is still only 23 1/4" with 35s. Getting closer to being done!!

Ride height is set. Just shy of 23 in to the bottom of the frame in the front and 23 in the rear. Should sit level with all the armor and RTT.

Getting close to being done. Got the rear shock tabs tacked on and all the gussets and everything else I need to finish up the rear. Bed is off and will start welding tomorrow. Just have to pull the rear third member and drop it off to have it regeared.

Also picked up a front driveshaft from a 4runner today and measured to have it lengthened and the rear one shortened and both rebuilt.

One set back though as the steering box I got is leaking at the input shaft. Pretty bummed since I paid a 100 bucks for it and spent most of a day pulling it from the junkyard. Most likely going to get a re manufactured one from rock auto.

Full stuff. Only have to do some minor trimming of the fenders at the bottom to clear the 35s completly.

I'm in the minority but I think 23 is pushing the limit of too low at Xtra cab Tacoma wheelbase. Extra height helps you not drag the belly on everything.

    Really like the build though
