Thanks man! Been watching yours as well.
Its actually even a little lower now around 22 3/4. Turned out a lot lower than I thought it would but with it still being my DD and a more overland than rock crawling truck, im not overly concerned. I know ill drag but nothing a quarter inch skid wont protect the vitals from. It was hard setting this truck up but its still taller than what my truck was before. If its to low, gives me another reason to go to 37s or 3/4 link :D

Just kidding, Im gonna wheel the crap out of this until I even think about that hahah:burnrubber:

Dropped off driveshafts today. Not sure if the CV i got for the front will work so waiting to hear what the driveline shop says. Got most of the welding on the drivers side down and got the truss for the axle cut today.

Last final exam in 30 minutes. Then I drive home and start with the front end. Once it rolls I will get the rear regeared then I'll tackle the 63's.

Nice! Have fun with the 63s. All the research I did on mine didn't end up panning out for me. Still got them in and should work fine. They are just SUPER soft and flexy. I added a cut down Wagoneer leaf and an add a leaf that was on the toyota pack I got and it gave me the right height and feels a lot better now.

Yeah I thought the 63's might need a couple leaves from my current leaf pack made for the older Toyota Pickups. I'm pretty sure I'll have to cut part of my slider reinforcements off my frame too...

What size tires are you going to run?

Your 63s could be different though cause I frenched my rear hanger in. I think if I would have mounted the front hanger on the bottom of the frame, I wouldn't have had to add extra leafs.

35 inch Bfg k/o2s. With these, I won't have to trim the front and will only have trim the bottom of the flare for the rear. But I did move the front axle 1 inch back for steering reasons and the rear axle I think 1 inch back and that centered it in the wheel well.

Everythings painted for the rear except the axle. Called it a day early after rolling around in overspray and smelling the fumes in the garage.

Good plan to wheel the crap out of it and have fun!

I would go for more up travel on mine but the drag link makes a lot of love with the oil pan as it is...And I'm too lazy to notch the pan or raise the motor. Simple is good sometimes

Yeah will see how everything does when it drives. As long as I don't bottom out on everything, I will be happy. Should work just fine though. Leafs aren't as simple as one would think hahaha

Just doing all the little things now while I wait on the rear 3rd and drive shafts. Once I get those, going to turn the truck around and do the front shock towers and remeasure for bumps since I took some leafs out of the front.

Got the exhaust mostly done today. Have to finish welding it and mount some hangers on it.

Axles done except for brake lines. Waiting to put the axle shafts back in to bend the new lines though

Shes alive!! Drove it about a 100 feet. Rear driveshaft didnt line up tothe Tcase so going to swap to a pre tacoma flange on monday and that should finish up the rear except for paint, finish bleeding the brakes, and the gas tank skid.

But holy rake... Will be adding the leafs I took out of the front once I cycle it again to mount shocks and move the bump stops. Then just weld the shock towers, secure brake lines and bleed and touch everything up for the most part. Then move onto breaking in the gears and doing the front bumper.

Shock towers are cut. Bump stops are mounted and winch plate is cut for the front bumper.

Shock towers before and after and lower shock mounts for the axle.
