If you don't mind me asking, how much roughly was this setup? Just curious I won't be doing it to my truck but I will my 92 4Runner

Looks awesome by the way! Good work

Not quite sure im ready to post how much ive spent on this quite yet but its a lot. Im pretty far over budget but I also got a lot more than I was planning on.
I will post a parts list and may include the prices then. And mind you, I didnt use a kit and built/made a lot of the pieces. The little things added up quick.

Thanks! Nothing compared to some of the builds on here or pirate though but it will fit my needs and make me happy.

I'd stay on 35's as a DD. 37's are too expensive to DD unless money isn't an object lol

Money's definitely an object and I'll probably stay 35s till I get a dd. I just think they will look better and fill the wheel wells. Would have to trim the cab on the front though as it rubs on 3/4 turn plus stuff right now a little

Well found one major problem on Wednesday and got it fixed today. Since the truck was a prerunner to start, we got the inchworm prerunner adapter with trail gear crawl box and transfer case. When we put the adapter in, my dad made a note about there being no seal between the adapter and transfer cases. Didn't think anything of it and fast foward to now. After driving it and checking all the fluids after every drive, I kept noticing the tranny fluid always being low to not registering on the dipstick. I knew some had leaked out when swapping radiators but definitely wasn't 3 and half quarts worth (added all over about a week) so I pulled the transfer case fill plug and sure enough, tranny fluid came spraying out.

When we got the adapter, it seems we where missing a box with a Spacer and the seal. Well after several phone calls with low range (who we ordered everything through) we Finally got the inchworm tech and told him what we where mising. They overnighter the seals and spacer and today we tore the transfer case and adapter back out and got the seal in. Didn't fill it yet, waiting for the ultra Grey to cure so we will check again tomorrow. Sucked having to pull all that again but glad it's done and hopefully that's the last of the major problems.

And a big thanks to low range for all their help and being patient with us. We ordered a lot of our parts through them and highly recommend them to others.

Will be working on the bumper tomorrow so things are getting close to being done again.

Well filled the tcases and tranny with oil today and crusied around the block. No leaks and it shows it has oil so we will see what it looks like tomorrow. Pretty sure it was just the missing seal that was causing it to leak.

Got a lot done on the bumper today. Drilled all the holes and got the winch plate tacked together and bolted to the truck and got the bumper cut and slid over the winch plate. Going to weld it all together tomorrow and it should be good to go!

Bumpers all welded and ready for paint. Going to make a template and weld some tabs for the filler piece around the winch. Exhaust end is fixed and no more rattle from that. Painted behind the bumper black and it all blends in now. Last few things to do besides the bumper is get a new license plate light, put the skid plate on and mount the center console filler piece for around the shifters.

Bumper is the same as it was before. Just cut out the middle for the winch and shortened it up a lot since it was attatched to the ifs cross member.

Bumpers being painted today. Got the winch all set up and ready to be bolted in. Skid plate is on and painted. All that's left is to get a license plate light and wire up the new fuse box. Been driving it around town and am really enjoying it. Driving great with the exception of a vibration when sitting at a stop light in drive. But goes away in neutral or park.

Should have the bumper on tomorrow hopefully and maybe go do a shake down run on Saturday.

Shouldn't be drive shaft because it only happens when It is at a complete stop in drive with my foot on the break. Goes away when I step on the gas or shift to park. I did loosen all the rubber mounting points on the tcase so they wherent bulging as much and thag helped. Just still there.

I'm starting to think it's either the motor mounts or the body mounts. It had a small one before and I think with the tcase it just worsened. Body mounts may be the next thing to do.

Did you upgrade the trans/tcase mount? Are the tcase or trans mount bolts tight?

It sounds like you have a front range off-road horseshoe style tcase mount. Those will make the truck vibe a fair amount at low idle in gear. When I had that style mount the truck vibed pretty hard at idle and when I went to the stock trans mount, the vibes went away. Then I threw in a bombproof TG tcase mount and the vibes came right back

Truck was a prerunner to start with so we made our own tcase mount to replace the transmission mount. It has two bombproof TG mounts and then the four legs attached to the frame are rubber mounted as well.
Both the TG mounts and frame bushings are tightened to before the bushing starts to mushroom or crush.

No horseshoe style mount. Just a cradle with the TG bombproof mounts.

Vibes are definitely less since I loosened everything about a turn though. Don't want to go any farther than where it is now though or they will be to loone.

Its the new mount, you will get used to it. I had the same thing when i switched over to the 4xinnovations style mount with stiff bushings, i actually thought i broke something when i first started it. I got used to it in a few days.
