More than strong enough. Plenty of guys running larger tires and more motor on 8 in axles with no issues. Look at pirate and every Toyota at hammers and rubicon

I was bending axle shafts on my 8inch housing. So time for full float. Might as well add a truss. Might as well add 14” coilovers. Might as well add hydro bumps. Might as well install crawl box while everything is apart. Might as well install fuel cell.

    Should run by December

More progress. Figured out the bump stops. Time to get all the gussets and frame plates cut them time to start welding. Going to beef up the strike pad for the bumps and do some plating but think it looks pretty good

    Full bump

Yep. I bought it new in box off a guy but here’s a link.

    http://www.radesignsproducts.com/winters-elec.-control-kits.html

The way I understand it is when you put it in 3 to the right, it’s like drive and it shifts normal. Left 3 is 3rd. 2nd then 1st and it looks it in those gears. This is the rock gate so you can slam it from 2nd to reverse fast. Not sure how I feel about that but I’ll try it.

That is one thing about the slush box is the inability to hold a gear without hunting or surging... nice find!

Should be nice and work well when trying to bump obstacles or when trying to climb the big dunes in sand hollow.

Does this unit fit under the stock console? Looks really cool.
Do you have a shift kit in the trans?

Highly doubt it’ll fit the stock center console. I plan on making a new one. Everything is included with the shifter. Just wire it up and connect the linkage. Or atleast that’s how I understand it from talking to other people. We will find out in a few weeks hopefully

3 is D, no matter left or right position, 2 is 2nd gear, 1 is 1st gear. The A340 is a 4 speed so overdrive is the 4th gear, overdrive off is 3rd gear (if you are on the highway). Once you get it all apart you'll figure it out. The overdrive button on the stock shifter will need to be wired to a different momentary switch, or the stock one if you want to keep it. I bought a generic red momentary button for mine.

Cool thanks man. I’m sure I’ll be messaging you when the time comes to build a center console and put this thing in. Do you have any pictures of the sub frame of your console and how you mounted it? Thanks
