Yeah :annoyed::( Had to take it off but put it in the vice when i got home and straightened it out. Doesnt line up as good anymore but will do for now. Went to the junkyard today in hopes of finding another one but wasnt able to... They were all ripped or had 4wd on them.

But I finally found a 4runner with a door panel! It was off the rear passenger and I need the drivers, but only paid $6 for it so if it doesnt work, oh well.

6$ bucks nice!...I wonder if you can get a 4x4 flap and just use a solvent to romove the 4x4 graphic:notsure:. Curious how much you pay for the flaps you got on it?

Yeah was pretty stoked on that... Considering every 4runner (no tacomas) there had their doors already stripped. Probably.

Never really thought about that. The guy I went with today suggested just painting them. Maybe next time I go, Ill grab two and give a go.. Mud flaps where 2.75 a piece lol. Was hoping they would work but if not, was only out 5 bucks haha. The ones I have now where off the front of a 4runner. Rear ones would bolt up easier as they have a flap that goes higher up in the fender.

Dude that is crazy cheap! $2.50. Salvage yards in so cal are way higher for parts. I like how the 4runner flaps look on your truck better than the tacomas even.

Yeah i think ill be checking the junk yard first for now.. Got the seats for $60 dollars and the 4 runner rack for $25. Killer deals if you dont mind a little work and getting dirty haha. The 4 runner flaps are alittle wider and help cover the 285 tires better I think. Will see how they hold up though. When I back up on full flex, they start to catch though.

Got it all back together! Using the Frost King was pretty easy. Easier to do the big wide sections rather than the smaller sections. Drove it around the block and didnt notice a huge difference. We will see once I get on the highway.

Changed the oil and checked the tire pressure yesterday. Have the tires at 30psi instead of the 32-34. Truck actually rides a little softer. Also drove it in the rain and had some fun on the corners! :burnrubber:

Also stopped by Horriblefrieght (Harbor frieght) and picked up some of their cheap magnetic lights with hooks to put under the tent and a solar panel trickle charger to connect to a second battery. Saw a nice older 4runner with some nice plate bumpers there. :spy:

Thanks man! The trucks are super capable and surprise me a lot on what it can make it up and over with a little effort and determination. Can't wait to do some more traiks and take some longer trips.

Oh definitely they have much capability. Do you have an e locker? Mine came with an oem locker and it's helped me on some pretty crazy shit. I like seeing other people being in the same situation I'm in so I can compare. But the truck looks great man

Yeah mine came with the factory e locker. One of the best things on the truck. Only had to be dragged out 1 time so far where 4wd would have gotten me out. Probably could have done it if I had some traction boards or just a little something as one of wheel was spinning on rock and the other digging a hole in the wash but was just easier to pull out the strap and get a little tug.

Thanks again man. Really digging your truck as well with the red acents and that front bumper.

Thanks man! If you're ever down in az let me know there's tons of country to be explored out here.. Even with 2wd.

I just got a set of maxtrax and have only needed them once when I got in some mud and damn they worked. But the truck with the locker can really do a lot more than what most would think

Sounds good! And if your ever up near Vegas/Southern Nevada, lets get together.

Was actually just about to pull the trigger on a set of treds on Amazon tonight or tomorrow. Need to order the part that goes between the cb fire stick and coax cable since i forgot and figured id get those at the same time.. May get a Shackle on a hitch receiver too... No real good recover points on the rear of mine..

Whats the best place to buy Treds 800 Traction Boards? Sierra Expedition looks the cheapest so far.

Smittybilt is always solid, but as for trac boards I found a nice pair just on Amazon for like 150. They work realllll nice

Thanks man. May just get a shackle and use one of the regular recievers i have laying around the house. Was considering the Amazon ones but didnt really want orange ones and just found the treds for 145 shipped in black on Sierra Expeditions. May just have to do those.
