Thanks man. Kind of the goal with it more focused towards crawling but can still go fast to get to the trails

I get it, best of both worlds... How did the 62s ( f67s?) ride?

I tightened the bypasses tubes all the way up the first day and it was pretty rough. I ended up opening all the tubes up four turns and it was way better but almost to soft. The thicker leaf pack seemed to help with axle wrap and I thought they performed good overall. Some more messing with the bypasses tubes and it should be good.

I was surprised how much of a difference the bypasses made.

once you get it dialed I'm sure it's night and day better

Then the issue will be the tunning for empty bed vs fully loaded... kinda just gotta find a happy medium and roll with it unless you like ripping shocks apart and turning tubes all the time

On my pick up I had issues fully loaded with the f67 so ended up with T50 pack (h70 equivalent)

I stay the same for the most part. Most my tools are in my box and spare stays in. Only thing that goes in and out is the small cooler and some cordless stuff in the back seat so maybe 100 pounds? Should make it easier to find a good setting and then those few trips a year I do with camping stuff it’ll be a little soft

Sand hollow is always a good time. Another day trip. Trailer tires are only two years old and had 3 separate and got a blow out on the way home.. sucks cause it took out the trailer wiring too

Half the reason why I don't trailer my shit is it seems like my truck is more reliable than a tow rig and trailer! I had people bail on a trip last weekend because their tow rig broke down on them. Awesome pics as usual!

I wouldn’t mind driving the Tacoma to the trails. But it’s slow, loud and tires are expensive haha. That’s my 2nd blow out/flat on a trailer in 7 ish years so I’m not to mad. I even caught it before the trip but discount doesn’t have any to swap under warranty as they’re all in Georgia so kind of my fault. I replaced the worst one and noticed this one in the way home but thought I could make it. Plus 75 with cruise set and my favorite station with no struggle is nice. And I can wheel hard without worrying about getting home haha

Because you actually PM your Tacoma, unlike most people that ignore trailer PM especially. Not saying that @malburg114 did at all, but a lot of folks do. Tow rigs get neglect too if they aren’t DD’s and are forgotten about in the driveway until a trip.

I pull my trailer brakes off once a year for inspection and greasing the bearings. Tires replaced at 4/32 or so with good replacements and not the cheapest thing I can order online. I do roughly 10k miles per year on the trailer so I don’t run into dry rot like most do first before they wear out trailer tires

We’ve been having more issues with trailer tires sepersting than anything. My dad had two and I found one before I left yesterday for sand hollow and now home have 2 more. All covered just waiting for new tires.

really my first issue with a trailer was Easter jeep safari in Moab this year when the trailer disconnect switch came out and smoked the brakes on i70. But a regular greasing and basic maintenance has left mine without issues.

@Snowy already knows but I’m looking for an enclosed trailer (20-24 foot) to turn into a camper/hauler with beds and bathroom and ditch the open trailer and make camping more enjoyable.

The problem is the tires just sitting esp in that hot sun you got out there.

Find a Thor Rat pack... my buddy just added another axle to his to tow his prerunner... pretty cool little trailer.

I thought of that or a slide in camper in the bed or trailer but they’re the same cost if mot more than an enclosed car hauler. My dad had one when I was little for his jeepspeed and it was cool. With heat and a nbathroom and real beds, can’t beat it and that’s my only requirements lol.

Made a cool tool today. The driver side hub sticks and I have to use a crescent wrench and screwdriver to rotate it. Knurled some aluminum round bar with a slot for the tab and now it’s no issue 276C8DF8-F8E3-4555-933E-EDC29216A910.jpgA0D80E77-3DCB-4307-A764-7ED984FB928B.jpg5DE5022A-1A80-4F71-8DFE-FC2DB3A47577.jpg63960B1A-9048-448B-84E7-852E854E62FF.jpg

Had a few people message me about them. I’ve been telling em 60 shipped. Let me know if you really want one as I need to make 4 today.

had someone mention they’ll use em in the winter when the hubs freeze up which I thought was a good idea too
