Thanks. I’m wanting to lighten up the front some and may paint some of the stuff gray but need to trim the fenders some more first

No real truck updates or wheeling. Recently bought a new house on 3/4 of an acre and been cleaning it up and moving. Truck is pretty much ready for Easter jeep safari next week besides a bolt check. Super stoked on the new house and garage and just everything about it.

house is “off grid” and 100% self sufficient off solar and batteries and then a generator to supplement if needed. Not really something I was looking for but it’s just outside of Vegas in the mountains but we are close enough to still work in town. And it stays way cooler than Vegas.

Tons of wild life too. Wild horses walk right by the front fence and seen elk and donkeys and a few coyotes. Should serve my gf and I well for a long time.

thanks guys. Horses are wild and just wander the community and stay close by because of the spring fed pond. House is good. Figuring out what’s going on with the wiring and electrical is different but so far trouble free. Should serve us well. The more I tinker with stuff in the garage the happier I become

Kane creek for day 2. Broke a u joint at the tcase doing something stupid. Had a spare joint and about 45 minutes to an hour to swap the joint and back on the trail. Second one I’ve broke and this lasted 3 or 4 years so not to bad. Fun day overall

Was that an OEM (Japanese) u joint?

I only grenaded one and it was a POS O'Riley's spare, but breaking a Japanese u joint is pretty rare.

No it was my second I joint ever. Same spot though, right before the tcase. Last one was an skf and this one was from Napa so most likely a skf. My trail spare was a matsuba japense joint though

Prichett for day three. Had the trail to ourselves. Cold weather scared everyone away. Rain made it slick. Had to winch chewy and I’ve yet to figure out rocker knocker and had to winch that. Good day though.

Nothing really new. Did a local trail that’s mostly a rough dirt road a few weeks ago that leaves from the house (wheelers pass). Gf drove some and we had fun and had lunch in pahrump and another weekend the gf and I and my parents made some knives in a blacksmith class in Utah was super cool and pretty challenging lol 4A8325B1-FD10-4558-8586-96C2E2709160.jpgA7A5D79B-8772-49DA-88F8-D7B2A98284F7.jpgFEB0A807-1953-4E4E-806B-86C64B37BB24.jpgF2AAB7A8-1383-4CEE-9879-F37FE6183EF7.jpg

I also built a bumper for the daily 89. Kind of ugly and still needs caps and some down tubes but new drive is dark and with the horses and donkeys, I needed more light. Should do.
