MAN CARD VIOLATIONS

Not a ribbon or anything either..far more sinister

Haven't seen this one, but driving the Volkswagen Beetle, with an exception of the old classic ones. Or driving those tiny fiat cars as well.

 

What about driving a Miata?

 

Jesus this thread just popped back up out of no where.

I see hundreds of man card violations on a daily basis. My confidence in the male sector has dwindled dramatically in the last couple of years.

I wonder if this is how the dinosaurs became extinct?

 

An acquaintance of mine has a Miata but he uses it for autocross..

 

You HAD to have guts to get out into traffic with 36 Horsepower, like my 1960 Beetle had. Or even 60 Horsepower, like my 1970 had.

 

The Prius is a great freaking car. Don't knock it. Extremely reliable and efficient, and there's nothing wrong with that.

 

And those little suckers are quick, too!

 

Guy I knew from darts had one just like Herbie and drives it in the summer most days.

 

Still beats driving a Chevy

 

The interior finish is way better in my wife's Prius than that of my second gen.

 

Driving a Smart Car.

 

Got rear-ended in a Prius by an Impala full of idiots doing better than 40 mph in a school zone while we were stopped behind a city bus. Totaled the Prius - warped the body and frame but it took 100% of the impact. None of us were hurt - not even a scratch. When my wife said she wanted another, I agreed instantly.

 

Yeah, those things have the guts of a wind-up toy. We have them as inner-city rentals around here, and people drive them like they stole them...only slower.
