We actually had that happen on day one of basic.

For reference: TI was 5' 3", AB was over 6' 4"

TI - "Anyone think they're man enough to whip my ass?"
AB - "Yeah, I can take you."

AB swings at TI, who moves in a blur and hits him 4 times. TI handcuffs AB, marches us into chow, and says behind to "clean up the mess." We were all  and never saw AB again.

No one ever thought of messing with TSgt Taylor (never forgot the man's name) after that. He confessed on graduation day that it was all a set-up. AB was one of his judo students and a Security Policeman.

    He totally got us.

I was about to disagree with your stereotypes of masculinity...but you reached me at IPAs.

    Fuck that shit.

So it's unmanly to drink an extra bitter beer that most females won't? I disagree... but if you're drinking an IPA, sporting a man bun, while you're getting a pedicure then hand that man card over asap.

I'm not saying IPAs are unmanly. They taste like ass. So if you like beer that tastes like ass, we will question all of your other life choices.

Pretty sure there are some other ones that won't bear further scrutiny.

Wait a minute. I have the highest respect for my chainsaw. :hattip:I'm focused like a laser when I use that rascal.

We were taught at a young age to have a healthy respect for things that could hurt you quick (guns, chainsaws, tablesaw, etc), but not to fear them.

I'm not afraid the chainsaw, but after I lightly (luckily) nicked my kneecap with it bouncing off a log, I sure ramped up my respect for it.

Similar story here, lucky to have a right leg. I was maybe 13 at the time.
