Title should not say help,Item is for sale, 200$ ship at buyers expense. So I just bought a 2011 V6 SR5 Access Cab in Barcelona Red and I'm pretty psyched. This is my first post and I'm hoping someone can help. I purchased a Manik Brush Guard on Craigslist off an 06 taco and it doesn't seem to fit. it is on jack stands in the picture a little lower that it would be mounted. I tried all different heights and it just doesn't seem wide enough. It just doesn't quite wrap around the headlights, but rather runs into the corners. Has the front end gotten wider since 06? Looking to sell because it doesn't seem to fit. Located in Mass. Cheers!

You said it's off Craigslist, you sure it's for a Tacoma? The front end of the Tacoma is the same from 2005 - 2011. The grilles and headlights are interchangable. That grille guard could have been for an older Tacoma or 4Runner.

I have a Manik grill guard for my truck and it doesn't look like that, that is probably for a 1st gen. not a 2nd gen.

    Hey redraider

Any chance you could help me out with a description of the mounting brackets for you Manik grill guard. I bought the same grill guard second hand, but I wasn't able to get the brackets. I am going to make them myself out of 1/4" plate, but I need to know what they look like. Are they "forked" to go around the bumper arms and bolt onto the three bumper studs? Or are they flat, and go between the bumper and the frame?

    Thanks
    Wheat
