The orange ones? Some people just find them trendy and use them. Others are too cool for that and just act like they aren't there.

I recently cut out the speaker to solve the key in chime problem. I half wonder if silent turn signals wouldn't get more folks to use them? Sooooo nice, esp at stop lights.

I think that may be more difficult. I think that's the actual sound of the relay. The one on my Taco is probably the quietest I've ever used though. If you were to eliminate the sound, I imagine you'd see more people who completely forget to turn them off too. Personally, I think it's just a laziness thing from people who can't be bothered to flip a lever.

Not on the Taco. Just a speaker. In the old days, it was the actual flasher relay.

The Taco signals were quiet. Inaudible at highway speed. My purpose was killing the key in chime. Still, it being gone around town is quite nice.

Peeps leaving a signal on will never go away without a tone as loud as a horn. I see it al the time.

Interesting, that explains why the Taco one is so quiet compared to every other vehicle I have driven.

I'm not sure with the Taco, but I know my GMC would start dinging at you if you left your signal on too long (I did it once after changing lanes). Obviously it can't if you removed the speaker, but still.

I have no idea if the Taco had that. It might have?

It could be time to experiment! I love the fact that I have highway signals thought. It's only 3 blinks, but still nice. I don't have techstream to adjust it.

Do you have OVT? If so, the Tactrix plus TS will get you there. Otherwise, the Carista app and an OBD adapter will allow you to do all dealer customizations that are available. I'm at six flashes.

I don't have any of that. Purely stock. I looked into Carista briefly, but didn't like that it was a subscription service.

I had the dealer change mine to 5 blinks, much better.

Carista is the only phone app that I know of for ECU access. You can get a free week trial if you sign up for a year. Just be sure to cancel early.

From my perspective, a Tactrix purchase is worth it and would have paid for itself with just the MPG bump that I got from the TSB flash.

I have had a couple. 04B13 gave me a nice bump and fixed the weird shifting. 04B14 did a lot of good stuff. Like others have said, it feels OVTune-ish.

What kind of MPG boost did you see?

Are you using an app to track everything and export it to excel? I have the Road Trip app for iPhone which is great for gas and okay for service records, but I had acar on Android and loved it - haven't really found a suitable replacement for iPhone though.

aCar is great. I didn't know it wasn't on iPhone. Sorry for your loss.

Is the Fuelly app not as good? I know Fuelly and aCar are somehow related, but I've only ever used the aCar android app.

Yes. I use acar. I only track MPGs for the most part. While the vehicles are in warranty, I keep other records separately.

Like @StandardTaco said, I think there is a fuelly app for iOS?

Thanks for the pointer. I downloaded it to check out and like the UI so far, but don't like that it looks like a subscription will be required for some stuff (I miss the days where you could buy software outright, but I understand the model). I'll definitely be trying this out for a bit, though.
