    Cutting the race without damaging anything else sucks balls man...best to spend the 20-30 bucks and send it out to an automotive machine shop and let them deal with it.

    I'm getting ready to re - do my rear bearing as soon as everything is delivered hopefully by Friday, same principle as the front. Need to whack off the race and a bonus pressed on retainer/ spacer

    Rears are a little more involved as far as pressing the bearing in when comparing to the front. Biggest thing is having the right press to accommodate the length of the axle shaft and having the right adapter to properly fit the bearing.

    I'm redoing mine because the drunk Russian dude at the machine shop a few blocks from Ryans parents house improperly pressed the beating, it didn't seat all the way and probably off by half a millimeter. But it's off enough that the ABS sensor isn't reading properly. I been driving without ABS for almost 3 years now :cookiemonster:

    It's essential to make sure that the nut is torqued to the recommended value. Too tight or not tight enough can cause premature wear. You can't just use an impact gun to get that sucker on there.
