    I got a feeling you will run into this issue again if you don't buy a new hub all together. It seems like a lot of shops don't rebuild our hubs correctly. At least through my experience :rolleyes:

    Damn that sucks ass. Maybe rebuild the one and order two new fronts and install them when you get some spare time. Then you will be left with one spare hub in case of an emergency. That's what I did.

    sweet. Just need to buy eventually a Trq wrench that goes above 150 lb.


    Thing i don't understand is Toyota over built some of the stuff on these trucks and some stuff not. Wish they would have overbuilt these bearing assembly's.

    Ummmm....running 35's and all kinds of armor and other extra weight on stock bearings is asking for problems earlier rather than later.

    Question 1...Is it required or even good practice to regrease the front wheel bearings on our Yota's?...
    if so

    Question 2 for you...did you ever regrease your bearings at anytime since you've owned the truck?

    The bearing's are sealed and you would be better of getting a new set then trying to open them.

    Ah ok. Didn't know if they were sealed or not. And ya...opening sealed bearings is not an option.

    Yea.

    I guess BAMATACO adds more grease in his full assembly-ed to make them last longer.

    How many miles you have on your truck ? You must have alot weight on your front end to.

    You can safely pry/lift the seal off to add additional and better quality grease without damaging the overall integrity of the bearing seals. But it must be done prior to it being pressed unto the hub
