    Tommy boy sums it up pretty much.

    1. You cut the cross member which makes it weaker, Like putting a band aide on a cut.
    2. It is all bolt on mostly except cutting and little welding.
    3. Dealership realize they can make alot money on some that doesn't know about lift and trucks by bolting up a 6 inch lift.

    hmm well my 2wd crossmember did not need to get cut. 100% bolt on. but a 4wd, yes i can see that they hack the crossmember, which is pretty intimidating, but isnt the new crossmember stronger? im sure the dealer knows this, and they back it up with a factory warranty anyway. worry free imo as long as you dont use it in some kind of baja 500 or extreme event.

    Damn! why? What did you go with? and have you had the release bearing issues? i didnt want to swap my clutch out because i think it's fine. It's just that damn throw out bearing making noise again
