I know it sounds and looks elementary, but with the overhead accessory panel in my lap, I cannot see how to remove the Map Bulb to go with an LED upgrade.
    Somebody...:help:

Still having problems with removal, and have moved on to back-up light LED ideas. Here is the "perfect" one: http://www.superbrightleds.com/more...ed-bulb-18-smd-led-wedge-base-tower/397/938/#
The problem is, there's plenty of room in the bulb chamber, but of course the LED rig will not fit through the mounting hole.
Can the plastic tail light lens cover be safely removed from the housing, to allow installment of larger bulbs than will fit through the hole normally?
It appears edge-glued, but has anyone ever pried that loose and resealed the cover without leaks, scratches or breakage?

Moving on, I used my new, plastic trim removal tools from Harbor Freight and my pocket knife flat blade to gently pry the first cover from the inside edge...then changed to removing the second cover starting at the outside edge. Both efforts were successful, with no broken parts. It's indeed tricky business, but slow and smooth provides rewards.

Just started studying the Tail Light issue, with removal of both units today. Will search for the largest, brightest bulb units for all three functions in each housing....then move on to the center brake lamps.
