headed y'alls way from bham for 2 days. 6 flags and the aquarium. any recommended places to grab a bite in Marietta? casuel type place that's kid friendly. I'm gonna get a beer or two but a straight up bar probably wont work. Thanks.

 

probably a sports bar'ish type of place but definitely open to suggestions.

 

Marlows tavern. Good food friendly atmosphere

 

Or try the stockyard it would be great for a family and it's in Marietta. Oh for a local dive heirloom bbq

Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately the girls were too tired tonight. Settled for walking across the street from the hotel to ruby Tuesdays for wings. I'll definitely be trying one of these tomorrow.

 

Marietta Diner worth the experience. Dave Poe's BBQ is favorite of mine.

My wife and I love Dave Poe's and it's down the road from the house.

 

Don't forget about Semper Fi bar and grill in Woodstock. They were voted best burger in Woodstock and the next meet is their.

 

We ended up going to west cobb diner. It was great. Had the w.c.d. burger #2
