Haha..nice. I was 29 and she was 41 when we started dating, met playing in a dart league. I had no license at the time we first met and she had a 96 red Tacoma access cab.

Technically everytime I pulled on my proximity suit I put my boots on first then pulled on my pants. With practice you could don a full set of silvers and an airpack in mere seconds.

Haha. It's usually an attempt to swap pants fast without taking off the boots but in the end it always fail in saving you time

It was always while working a field job for me. Trying to put on my coveralls without pulling my work boots. Not only did I fail at it, but I also just smeared mud all over my coveralls and the clean pants I was wearing underneath.

Well fellas, this weekend was an absolute shit show disaster. It was supposed to be just a little trip to the hill country, do a little camping, a little bit of wine tasting, and when things were just right, a proposal to the little gal.

Saturday started off decent, we woke up on a cute little farm that we are camped at, picked up a couple bottles of hard cider, a bourbon, a few wines, some spiked chocolate, and of course had plenty of samples at each stop. I decide to stop by the camper to get the wine and chocolate in the fridge so it isn't sitting in the hot car all day. It was supposed to be a quick in and out, store the wine then off to town for a fancy dinner and a surprise. But nope. As soon as I open the rear door the dog fucking bolts, scatters the farm owner's chickens and critically maims one in the process. Blood and feathers everywhere, man.

Well shit. Evening's ruined. We spend the rest of the day apologizing to the poor guy and generally feeling like shit. Chicken will probably live, but it's still early. Owner was understanding and gracious, but that shit is still mortifying.

Next morning I make coffee and mimosas and start slowly packing up the camper. We're putting about, chatting, in and out the door as things get cleaned and put away. Of course she takes a major spill down the steps and lands ass down on the ground. Hard. Escapes with bruises and a minor scrape. I said fuck it, "while you're down there, let's just make this a weekend full of disaster and bad decisions."

At least we'll have a story to tell.

Thread bump. She moved out 3 months ago, the first few weeks were wonderful. I had space to breathe and it was quiet and calm at home.

Divorce is even worse than Marriage! There was a month of pure hell where I thought I might be going insane.

It’s hard to hate someone and be in love with them at the same time.

I said to an old girlfriend when we were splitting up..I still love you and I'm sure part of me always will, but I don't really like you much anymore and I'm sure the feeling is mutual (I really meant the mutual part, and it was true)

Marriage should come with term limits. If both people are happy together after the term is over. They can renew their marriage for another term.

From a Christianity standpoint... blasphemy. From a modern standpoint, an interesting idea. People change.

Bummer. Time to work on you brother. Someone else can't make us happy and fulfilled. We need to look in the mirror and see someone we like and respect. Jmo.

    Good luck to you.
