Well I installed the box I got from Marv in my 2008 Prerunner double cab. I went with the traditional box for two 10's that a few of the others on here went with. Marv recommended the Image dynamics IDQ10V3.D4 with a PDX 1.1000 wired to 4 OHMS.

Got it all installed today with my Alpine headunit and factory speakers.

The verdict ...... this thing SLAMS!

I’ve owned JL, Alpine, Rockford, MTX, and Kicker over the years. Never dealt with Image Dynamics, but now I’m a believer!

The system in my other car (Corolla S) is two type R's with an Alpine MRD-M1000. The Tacoma system with two 10's hits just as low and kills it with accuracy. If you’re looking for a system for your truck, I HIGHLY recommend the IDQs, PDX 1.1000, and MARV's box.

Toytec ultimate lift kit, light racing UCAs, ARB bumper and full skid plates underneath. Looking into redoing the suspension and maybe repainting the ol' Taco.
I have run IDQ's exclusively in my vehicles for the last 8 years and absolutely love them. Great choice, and I agree nothing tops them for the money.
