Thanks Dave. I ended up being able to just get the nut in the top hat without the upper bushing. That let me compress everything just enough to get the coilover into the LCA. Then I was able use the weight of the truck to hold everything while I setup the top hat correctly. Took some finesse but I got the Dobinson IMS kit on the 4Runner.

 

Good afternoon.

I got the GMC running better and finally charging the battery. Apparently the cluster needed to be in the dash for the "BATT" light to trigger the regulator so that it would start charging. I took it for a decent 10 mile rip ( with the AAA card in my pocket, lol) I forgot what the sound is like when you floor it in a small block.. even this clapped out old firewood truck put a grin on my face.

I passed @Taco1004 pulling the pontoon boat near the Sheetz, it looks nice!

 

Please don’t start another “my Taco is underpowered” debate

 

Not from me! I knew that the 2.7 in my Taco would never win any drag races.

Awesome pics! Before i sold my little camper i always wanted to hook it up to my Tacoma & head out that way exploring. Visiting Yellowstone is on my bucket list. Wife & I traveled rt.66 out west. That's a must do trip too.

Yesterday was a successful first day out with the new pontoon. Few learning curves, especially from coming out of a 16’ bass boat to a 22’s deck. Could have done without the wind too!
