    Anyone from Boston, Mass here? Ill be living there the next 2 yrs. Anyone into snowboarding all? I know that theres a few places to go with in a few hours and will be going up.

    I live in southern NH, and I ski. I reccomend Mt Sunapee or Cannon Mt (if you can take the weather ;)) I say DON'T go to Loon or Waterville, simply because of massive crowds and meh skiing (my opinion). Hope this helps!

    Currently in RI, but lived in boston for 3 years and Keene for 4 years.
    Second the sunapee idea, we used to ski there 3 days a week in college. yeah yeah, insert jokes here.
    Wachusett is nice for something local, and they have night riding. You have plenty within 2-3hrs of boston, even into Maine. Sunday River.

    X3 on Sunapee. I also like Gunstock, mostly because it's 15 miles from home. It is the closest resort to Boston, cheaper than most, and has a bunch of blue/black trails that are mostly steep and icy at the top but very FAST if you're into speed. If you want serious skiing (aka bumps), head north. IMO, Vermont has the best skiing here in NE.
