Go on.... I went to the state's website and found this: "vehicles over 1000 lbs. such as pickup trucks or SUVs are prohibited from all trails at all times."

It's legal if you stay on the dirt roads . If you go off the maintained roads is where the cops will impound your truck.

Not too many unmaintained town roads in MA. Mainly in western MA. Places like old Florida road are one of the places few places that are legal public land in MA. Otherwise it's a no-go

Heads up...The speed traps are everywhere now that the snow is melted and they have a lot of revenue to grab before the end of 1st quarter...
I have seen Northboro and Westboro police every day running radar on Rt 135 and RT 9

I'm not convinced there's any roads good enough around here to get any real speed on!

I typically run my V1 in my truck when I put the Subaru away for the winter, but I'll keep that in mind.

Route 2 going westbound out of Arlington is nice and smooth, sty least it was when they repaved it a few years ago when we were living there. It may or may not have been the test/tuning area for my old autox/ track car...

Though I guess thinking back that was like 5 years ago so it's probably all crappy again

Oxford Ma checking in here. New to the forum, just got my truck a few weeks ago. '15 Double Cab, Long Bed in Blue Ribbon Metallic. I haven't started modding yet but I have ordered a Leer 122 for it and I'm eyeing a light bar and off-road lights for my trips up to northern VT, NH, and Maine.

Just in case any of you did not see it in the NE BS thread or the NE wheeling plans thread, we are doing another meet and greet at Gillette stadium tomorrow in front of Bass Pro shop in the lot near RT1 at 11:30. Everyone is welcome!

Loads of them in Berkshire County. Mostly roads that used to have houses on them but are now just foundations. Very few are blocked off. Some are basically just rough dirt roads, others I wouldn't even think about taking my truck through.
