We had successfully split up our group twice, so we wanted to make it official by officially loosing everyone! What a great route that was holy crap!

Thanks again Jason for helping with trying to patch the air line!

ARB air line got too close to the exhaust and melted a weak spot where the air blew out of = nor more locker.

@Jerry I finally got to use the sliders! ( & the frame apparently )

Hey I just bought my first tacoma a few weeks ago. Although it probably couldn't handle Hollister hills or much off roading considering its 2WD, if you guys meet up again in nor cal could I stop by?

    Thanks,
    Joe

^Definitely. The 2wd guys made it up most of the trails, but they also had rear lockers and LT'd.

Is this a common problem? I was wondering if having an air line like that failed often due to melting or getting cuts and losing pressure.

    ...too much shit to list.
I wouldn't call it "common" but it happens. 4wp wrapped the air line in that plastic accordion wire loom stuff. And, it's plastic, and was 2 inches from the cat so the inevitable happened when it's 90* outside and you're average speed is 2 MPH.

Lil trick I've seen people do is to sleeve the plastic line through some rubber hose (fuel line). It prevents kinks, tears, cuts and melting. Also...carry an air line repair kit and reroute the line somewhere away from the exhaust.
