I just purchased a stock 2018 PRO, and I am wanting to replace my headlight bulbs to Closely Match my Rigid Fog Lamps.... Any thoughts? Not dead set on anything, just want better light and close matching color/brightness.

Best performing bulbs are in here. Just don’t put LEDs in the housing

    Welcome to TW!

Check out the color temp charts at lower part of this thread below. The OEM Rigids are about 5900k in color temp at peak intensity. The OEM Rigids do a bit of a color shift in the beam pattern where they are very blue at the top and transition to a warmer yellow near the bottom. But with peak intensity at 5930k, you are not going to come close to matching them with a halogen bulb. The best performance halogen bulbs will top out around 3500-3600k and the blue coated ones that still put out any usable light, though less than stock, are around 4000k. If you want to color match, halogen is going to provide disappointing color results.

To color match you are effectively looking at 6000k, which is somewhat of a sucky color for headlights, it is far too blue which reduces your contrast visibility. Ideally the very highest you'd want to go is 5000k. Halogens cannot practically get to that high of a color temperature, and drop in LEDs will cause loss of distance projection, leaving HID as the only drop in technology that can meet the color temp requirements and not lose distance projection. All the technologies are covered in depth in this thread:

Morimoto is releasing replacement LED housings, properly designed for LEDs, I suspect their color temp will be in the 5500-6000k range but have not measured.

    For all round better performance...
Rather than trying to color match your headlights to a less effective color in order to match your existing high color temp fogs, you might consider changing your fogs to a better performing unit and bring the color temp down to a better performing color, like Rigids selective yellow, which are due out any day now. The D-series selective yellow fog far outperforms the TRD OEM Rigid fog. You can take a look at the output numbers in the charts in that first link, and compare to Rigid selective yellow in the prototype comparison here. You can see the selective yellow fogs are 1.56x brighter than the TRD Rigid fogs. Selling your OEM TRD Rigids would likely cover the upgrade cost. You could then swap in the Philips H9s as documented in the thread below in post #2 for a 2x improvement in headlight output giving you a substantial lighting upgrade in both the headlights and fog lights.

Probably a bit more info than you were looking for.
