Bilstein 5100's up front set @ 2.5 inch with 1 inch block in back UPDATE as of 06/14: 4inch rough country upfront with Bilsteins set at .85 for total lift of 4.85 and rear with 2 inch block with Bilsteins 5100's shocks. UPDATE as of 0615 4 inch lift Rough country with Bilsteins set at 2.5 and rear 2 inch add a leaf with 3 inch block sitting on 285/75-17 34's...
If I'm correct my stock rims on my 2012 4X4 are 17X9 and it has 265/65/17. My question is if I level the front what the max size tires I can put on the stock rims?

x2. You can go taller but that means running a narrower tire.

When you say you want to level it out, I'm assuming you're leveling it with either a coilover or a spacer kit and not thinking of running taller tires on just the front? Not trying to be insulting, but some people might not see anything wrong with that...

I have a 2010 tacoma 4x4 and my stock tire is 245/75/16 without changing the rim size and I am still at stock with no leveling kit, and no spacers what is the max tire size I can run without cutting the fender and getting overspray from the tires onto the fenderwell or side of truck when driving as I do not have rubber fenderwells???

I didn't know if the rim size would matter. I thought the max tire size was referring to a 17" rim vs. a 16" one.

5100's front and rear, front 2.5" rear 2" AAL, 18% tint front and rear, color matched grill. SCS wheels 275/70/17 BFG AT KO's. DTRL toggle switch.
The question was answered for 17's not 16's which he is asking. Also your post is pointless! Read... lol

I believe from my limited research that the largest tire size for 16 with out mods would be 265/75.

It's the most common question on this entire site, that's why there's a thread stickied at the top of the forum entitled "Largest tires sizes on stock suspension". The same size restrictions apply for stock wheels.

The stock 17's are 7.5" wide, not 9"

I have minimal knowledge when it comes to tire sizing and purchases. The size of the rim threw me off on which tires were compatible etc. My mistake.
