I have a Tuff Country 2" Leveling kit & Tuff Country 3" rear Add-A-Leaf springs installed on my '03 PreRunner. Currently I am running 265 Cooper Discovery ST tires mounted on the OEM Enkei wheels. I a wanting to uprgrade to Helo Maxx 6 16x10 wheels and I am wondering what are the biggest size tires that will fit. I have narrowed my options to either the flashy Nitto Dune Grapplers or the hellacious Mud Grapplers but I need to know if I can fit 33's(305's for 16" wheels) which I am leaning towards the most.....any input would be highly appreciated.

    -Thanks

You can "Fit" them, but they will rub.

which can I fit the 33 Grapplers? would it be any help with wheel spacers? To clarify my starting post I need something that will last, fit, and look damn good at the same time.

    May want to consider a 285/75/16.....Or even a 265/75/16

I am already running that same size tire now...haha I am definately upgrading from that and I know I could fit 285's easily no doubt...So I'm trying to go even bigger than that, I'm looking to spend somewhere in the $1500 range, so any more suggestions-just keep em' coming.

well man, I don't see how...I have measured and measured, I know people who are running 285's with no lift...are your wheels offset? I'm still trying to comprehend. My front struts are completely worn out and are bouncing at every pebble & cigarette butt in the road, once I get those fixed for around $200(so I've heard), it should level out the front even more...hopefully.

it may work for you....yeah my wheels have a 4" BS....theres a guy in here running 285s on a stock 2nd gen i think but not sure...good luck man

heres a pic with all the flex she has in the rear...if you plan on wheeling it keep a spare set of 265s around...

BTW 305s are 34.01" seriously doubt those will go with 2" try 285s if anything....http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/tirecalc.php

Thanks for all your input man and how much lift do you have total? I'm still keeping my 265's at hand for if I ever am in the position to sell my baby...I still want to keep the Helo's as a reminder to use on my next truck, whether Taco or Chevy.....also I just checked into the calculator and confirmed that a few mins ago...I'll probably just go a step larger than 285's.

    thanks again

I guess you could say about the same as me, I have a bud with 33 Mud Grapplers on an 18" wheel on his chevy.....I guess we'll have to trade rubber one day to get a rough idea of fitment...he payed around $2000 for his but I have a feeling he got ripped if you knew how our local truck shop operates.

Haha yea it's rough, sorta like a monopoly especially when they're the only custom shop for 50+ miles around. I had some ITP wheels Line-X'd last week for $30 a-peice and they only sprayed the outside rim.....that was a ripoff then the add-a-leafs and shocks I recently got put on were only $250 which isn't that bad with labor and considering I've had the leafs for years still in the box.
