How about hooking the boat up, throwing some weight in the bed, and taking it for a test spin. If it feels like its struggling and you don't feel comfy towing this with your truck, don't do it. I tow 16.5' steal trailer and two 400cc quads around a lot, and I know they are back there when I climbing. I wouldn't say I struggling a whole bunch, but it does bog down a bit driving steep inclines. Not sure if I would pull the boat your talking about despite what the specs suggest. Just my 2 cents from someone who has towed a ton of crap in a ton of different trucks.

By the way I have a DC Pre ruuner w/v6, and yep got the tow package.

I can't say how important it is to weigh your rig when in doubt. It's only a few bucks and it's good to know. Most truck stops can assist.

In this test, the weight on trailor, wich includes everything optioned, 'cept fuel, its listed as 683 Kg. Multiply that by 2.2, and see what you get. its just not a big boat man. If you want it to weigh more, than just pretend it does. No biggie to me.

I still think Im right. Everything Ive seen gives a loaded weight, sans fuel, of 1500 to 1600#'s. That iincludes troling motor, engine, dual console (which is 50#'s more than the single), batteries, etc. Fully fules adds another 270#'s....I mean, Are you really carrying 1000#'s of fishing gear when you take it out?? Thats about 14,000 fishing poles...

Trailor weighs about 700#s.....If that. And Yes, If the motor weighs 4683's, then the boat, troling motor, batteries, etc weigh whatever is left. Im just going by what the people that make the boat say, and the others out there that have weighed them. Throw it on a scale and see for yourself. Shit man...That boat has less than 2' draft. Its not gonna weigh much. A Cobalt 21 footer bowrider weighs 3200#s' and its MUCH larger than your boat....and has a shit load bigger engine.
