    i just went through the whole thread...now i really want spindles.
    as soon as i get my tax return i'm ordering me a set:D

    i have 1.5 wheel spacers with 285s on my trd off road wheels
    so with spindles ill basically be 2.25 up front with 1.5 in the rear
    would that look stupid?

    You could always get a different spacer for the rear to compensate or just get different wheels w 4.5 bs and just run the 1.5 spacer on the rear so they are even with the fronts.

    Quick question for all of you installation experts: I bought my spindles used knowing that I would need new brake lines. The seller told me i would get everything I need besides the brake lines. I got 4 bolts, 4 nuts, and 4 washers with the spindles. Is there anything else I need besides the brake lines?

    Did he give you the brackets that the ABS sensor cable attaches to. They mount up with M8 bolts to the smaller holes about halfway up the spindle. There are pictures of them on the installation instructions on the maxtrac website.

    If i remember correctly, the spindles didn't come with the brackets...the stock brackets were cut and used, i think.

    edit: and brake lines were included with mine.

    Seems like I need to make a call to Maxtrac and see what I need to get. I don't have the brackets and I don't think I have half the other parts on the list. I literally don't have anything but the spindles and those 4 bolts.

    I'm hoping this is the case. I bought these knowing that I would need to buy brake lines, but didn't think I needed anything else.

    I wanna get these spindles next month. How is everyone's VSC behaving? I tried searching and didn't find much info with anybody having VSC issues running these spindles. Saw a lot of people with VSC probs, mainly 4x4's.

    Also, if I'm all stock up front (besides the maxtracs), will a 2 inch block level me out in the rear if I have the stock 4-leaf pack? My intention is to get the All-Pro standard pack, but that won't be for a few more months. I can live with a block for that long.

    I originally had the spindles up front with a 2" block in the rear and I was a tad higher in the front about 1" but I have the smaller stock leaf pack so you might be ok. I think a 3" block would be best but I'm not sure how much more lift you will get out of your leaf pack vs mine. The pic in my sig was spindles and 2" block....
